Total Overload

I'm on total overload - -
I'm working FT & PT with a Flea Mkt booth on the side - I have a newborn ... tonight is our "work night" at the flea market to get ready for labor day weekend - but it's also small group (which I have no idea what I'm taking..food wise) and now I've decided to compete in a talent show - - - I have to be over medicated.... 'cause this country bumpkin is in a tail spin! :)

Fun Times in the Big Pool!

Jared & I are blessed to have some great friends that let us borrow their pool one afternoon last weekend :)

It was so FUN & yet relaxing. It was Maverick's 1st time to float in the pool ~ and he loved it!!

A Little Fun in the Big "D"

So, for several years now we've taken an annual girls trip & this year was no different - just hotter :)

We didn't get many pictures - - and basically, what happened in Dallas HAS to stay in Dallas..but this is what I can share.. ha ha

* Donna had the best luck/shopping weekend - EVER!

* Rhonda did NOT let a little cuss slip this year because of traffic/weather

*....and I may never be able to look Dale in the face again..ha ha! j/k

We also went to the nicest movie theater ever - where you didn't see any kids - there were chandeliers & fabulous furniture & you could order things like chocolate covered strawberries all the way to
Filet Mignon!

Bear & Us . . .

Last week, Jared & I watched the movie "Marley & Me" for the 1st time - for anyone that has ever had a personal relationship with a dog . . . this one is a doozie.
I have to admit that we both were crying & laughing the whole time. But all the emotions in the movie are so real life! So, I'm sharing a few pics of our "Bear", he was our 1st baby & is going on 4 (28 yrs old in dog years) We love you, Bubba (or as Brodie likes to call you " Bear Puppy)!!

This is a tribute to Jared's favorite dog that he still had when we got married. I'm not sure how old he was when he finally passed away, but he always was gentle & made me feel very safe:)  RIP Buford T Pusser

Happy Birthday America!!

Well, this is Maverick's 1st Fourth of July!! We had some outfit malfunctions - no plan "b" - but nevertheless,

we persevered :) We also let Maw-Maw watch Mav while Jared & I took flowers & fireworks to Tara because it was her birthday too! (RIP I miss you & love you like crazy)

All in all - we had a great weekend full of family & fun ..... which made us really start missing

Amanda & Brodie even more.

Saturday, all the Conner kids & grand kids had a Big adventure at the Oklahoma Aquarium!

(along with The Cheesecake Factory & Ross) ;)

With Amanda & Brodie leaving this Thursday to move to ITALY..!!!....we knew that we all had to do something on our last weekend together. It ended up taking all day - but it was worth the time we got to spend with each other. Maverick was a little fussy, but for the most part was in a good mood :) I would have to say that the "petting" stations were a hit with the kids & of course, the shark tunnel!

3 Months Old

Maverick turned 3 months on the 10th of June - time has flown & stood still at the same time :)

It's unexplainable. I have mentioned this before & will say it again, that Jared & I had a fun & full life before but now it is fun & full in so many other ways - we are a complete little family - it's beautiful - 

Maverick is our sunshine.

He wants to hold his own bottle soooo bad :)
