Easter Time Is Near!

Last weekend we had a "mini" photo 

shoot for Maverick's Easter pictures!

job & Maverick really showed off for her :)

Sweet Memories

Maverick is a lucky boy, in that not only does he have an adoptive family that loves him, but he is getting to meet his biological family that loves him just as much!

This weekend we met up with Moma Lola (Mav's great g-ma), Mr. Mike and we 

met Ms. Mona (Mav's great, great g-ma)!!

One of the most precious gifts we could have gotten was a family tree!

They gave us a Navajo Willow tree to plant that is from Moma Lola's brother's house in Colorado. 

A Time to Celebrate!!

Believe it or not, but Saturday our little man turned 1!!

This year has been full of sweet moments - some trials - and lots of giggles :)

We partied with our immediate families & had a great time.

Maverick was blessed with lots of gifts & sugars - thank you all for making 

Maverick's birthday so special.

March Winds are Blowing

It's finally March! I can't believe how this year has already flown by so fast!

It has been such a mild winter (which doesn't hurt my feelings) & we are jumping straight into spring.

It seems like all 3 of us have been so sick this year :( which is very frustrating. 

Nothing pains our hearts more than seeing Maverick sick. 

But March brings a very happy occasion ....... Maverick's Birthday!!!!

Talk about time flying by, it seems like a few days ago we were trying to decide on baby names & then going into the hospital to be induced & then meeting the most precious blessing we have ever known!!

So, this week... I'm just taking my time & decorating the house for Maverick's party a little each night - so that when the party comes, I'll be able to enjoy the whole day - without having to run around like a crazy woman :)

I'll try to post some good pictures of his party decorations before the party starts!
